Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am pleased to announce that we will be having our Field Day this Friday, May 25th. In order for this day to be successful, we are asking for your cooperation on several matters:
- Please remember to have your child wear his/her team color shirt (they are being distributed on Thursday, May 23), appropriate shorts, or light weight pants.
- Please make sure students wear sneakers (with SOCKS- for the inflatable) Sandals are not permitted. Long hair should be tied up.
- We are expecting very warm weather, please make sure your children have applied sunscreen. Hats and sunglasses will be permitted.
Students will have indoor recess to provide some respite from the day’s activities and then will complete the field day activities after lunch.
The PTA will provide ice pops for the children at the conclusion of the days’ activities.
We are looking forward to a fun day. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.
